Ian’s never ending community involvement has included terms of service on the arena and hospital boards, as well as serving as an elected member of Uxbridge Municipal Council.

Ian continues to give back to his community having been a proud member of the Uxbridge Rotary Club since 2000. Following in the footsteps of his WWII veteran parents, Ian is a member of the Uxbridge Legion Branch #170 and has been involved in sponsoring the monthly “Veterans Afternoon” since its inception 11 years ago. In 2015 Ian helped spearhead the Uxbridge “Honours Our Veterans” banner program which has grown to more than 100 commemorative banners being displayed in downtown Uxbridge each year leading up to Remembrance day. Ian continues to sit on the committee which oversees this important and vital ongoing legacy project.

A committed family man with traditional small town values, Ian resides in the Estates of Wooden Sticks in Uxbridge with his wife of 32 years, Pamela. They are the proud parents of Jordan and Chelsea.

Following a very rewarding advertising career in the weekly newspaper industry, the move to real estate sales in 1987 came naturally to Ian and through hard work, success followed. Ian joined RE/MAX All-Stars in 2001 and has been a “Platinum Club” award winner each year topped only by his sales performance in 2010 achieving “Chairman’s Club” status and ranking in the Top 100 Re/Max agents in Canada for that year! RE/MAX International has recognized Ian with the prestigious “Hall of Fame” and “Lifetime Achievement” awards.

In 2011 the National Association of Realtors accredited Ian with the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation. Ian joined more than 16,000 real estate professionals from across North America who have earned the SRES designation. Throughout Ian’s career, he has enjoyed representing the real estate needs of hundreds of Uxbridge seniors. By successfully completing the comprehensive SRES course, he’ll be even better able to understand and serve the needs, considerations and goals of real estate buyers and seller’s 55 and older!

2017 will see Ian hit the professional milestone of being a realtor for 30 years. To celebrate the occasion with his many valued clients, Ian will be conducting a “Customer Appreciation” event throughout the year.
